17 Aug 11 - Just over 5,000 members. There are 4 admins listed but for a long time I have been doing the moderation on my own. I would like to change this situation but I am not sure what strategy to follow. Last time I was away for a week I came back to a queue of thousands of images to moderate.

At the moment the pool is looking really interesting.

About Beginner Street Photography

"Beginner" does not mean "bad". The pool is moderated so that beginners can see good examples of the diversity of street photography.

Use flickriver to have a good look at what has recently been accepted into the pool.

AUGUST (2011) is holiday month. The pool will re-open from mid-September.
At that point, we need to find some keen moderators (who might be willing to go on to become admins) to moderate submissions to the pool AND get some discussion topics going.
