29 Apr 10 - Hello. Please support the new BBC wildlife project Bee Part Of It ! by adding photos and discussions to the new group: www.flickr.com/groups/bbc_beepartofit/ . Starting on 17 May across BBC Local Radio, the TV programme Springwatch and www.bbc.co.uk. it highlights the plight of declining bee species. The project will follow the wildlife drama of a new honeybee colony, set up 45 hives on National Trust properties and create 40,000 new wildflower spaces to attract bees. Thanks, Max

About Bees and Beekeeping (honeybees only)

This a group for everybody interested in bees, bee macrophotography, beekeeping and honey - let's try and keep it limited to honeybees (ie Apis mellifera) ! there are other groups for insects in general and other "bugs" and "creepycrawlies" .. and please NO bumblebees!
