Hi There,

This is a virtual quilting bee especially for beginners, however, please note that you should have at least one or two quilting projects under your belt and that you feel confident enough to produce decent blocks.

I'm a newbie myself and this will be my first ever bee - a little ambitious deciding to start my own bee I know but every time I find a bee I like the sound of, they are already full so I figured why not!

Here are a few rules:

1. This will be a 12 month bee. All members will be assigned a month each. (If we don't get 12, we'll go with however many sign up) I think a Sep start date is realistic but this can brought forward to Aug if we get enough sign ups :-)

2. Each member is responsible for creating a thread with their month as the title before their month arrives to let the other members know what style block they want / link to any tutorials etc. That person is also responsible for sending out their fabrics (see below) as well as tracking when their fabric has been received by the other members and when members have sent completed blocks back.

3. Fabric should be sent out so that it arrives on or as close to the1st of the month as possible. Blocks should then be completed and sent back so they arrive before or at the end of the month.

4. If you need to drop please let me know as soon as possible so we can find a replacement. Please make sure you send back completed blocks on time. I think it's maybe fair to allow 2 late warnings before being asked to leave the group.
