Let's face it: Flickr is obese. And it is fat because everyone of us is stooping to post some unnecessary photographs, regardless of everybody's visual health.

Would you like to take an active part in the reduction of this bad fat? Now you can join The beauty regime. By subscribing to this group, you commit to delete images from your own photostream, following one of both diet methods below. Please choose the one which best suits you:

=== BLITZKRIEG REGIME: simple and fast ===
1) Delete or hide from public searches 10% at least of your Flickr photostream before March 31st, 2012.
2) Post a message on the group's forum to inform of your nice effort (and how much satisfaction it may have brought you).

=== GRADUAL REGIME: better thought out ===
1) File 10% at least of your Flickr photostream in a new album or set that you'll call “-10% [Beauty regime, 31 Mar. 2012]” in such a way that everyone can see what you intend to delete or hide, and possibly discuss your choice in the group's forum or below the images themselves.
2) Delete or hide from public searches this whole album or set on March 31st, 2012.
3) Post a message on the group's forum to inform of your nice effort (and how much satisfaction it may have brought you).

The target is reasonable: -10% in about the three winter months of 2012 — in other words this is not a too brutal diet that could seriously damage your health or your photographer pride. After the closing date of March 31st, 2012, a new seasonal campaign will be launched.

Adding a single image to this group is — of course — impossible. Its nerve centre should be the forum and its loss of weight reports.
