About Beautiful books on my shelf

We're often told not to judge a book by its cover, but reading has an unavoidable physicality. As readers turn increasingly to electronic books, designers have responded to the challenge over recent years with beautifully crafted new releases.

But beautiful books are nothing new. Celebrate the book as precious object by uploading to this group a photo of the most beauitful book on your shelf. Tell us a little bit about it, and about what makes the design so special.
