While browsing around flickr I couldn't find a group that hosts photos about Beirut with a decent moderation and quality.

So I decided to create this group which is dedicated to photos of scenery, streets, buildings, mansions, archeological sites, people in the city, art, architecture or any other subject or detail that shows Beautiful Beirut.

Beirut is beautiful by its natural emplacement, architecture, sea front, mountain back, small streets, blue sky, stormy sky, people and even its own brand of chaos. Anybody who visited or lived in it knows that the city is less than perfect, however in this group we don’t care about this, we want to show -only- the beautiful side and not just limiting it to the obvious splendor at the center and the sea front but trying to explore all of what is still hidden and needs to be shouted out…



Indoor photos inside galleries, clubs, restaurants etc. are welcomed but the relationship to Beirut needs to be obvious.



If you notice that any photo you have posted has disappeared from the pool, it means that we have removed it because we judged that it doesn't server the purpose of the group which is Beautiful Beirut. Sorry for that!
