②內層三瓣很有特色，有“^”字形的斑點，G.elwesii 的則更大，其他的沒目前還沒有詳細瞭解 -.-;;

♥3rd What can you do here？

♥Everyone is welcomed even though you will not send photos of Galanthus...Just appreciate them is OK!

♥You can send any Photos of 'Galanthus' plants which are taken by yourself OR Art work(paintings, drawing, clay etc. PLAESE COLOURED!)into this group pool, but I will delete any photos if it does not to my taste,. So if it doesn't matter you for my deletion of any of your photos, please just skip over 'My Aesthetic Requirements' below and send your photos to the pool..

♥4th My Aesthetic Requirements:

1. Photos should be taken in a Natural Place (wild habitats and gardens are both OK).
2. Photos should be coloured, Black & White is not recommended here.
3. Photos you will send is better of original large size and without processed if no necessary
3. The 'Galathus' in your photo should be 'Pure and Clear' which means you should use a well digital camera to take and other plants around 'Galanthus' appeared on your photos should be the fewer the better.
4. Picked or cut flowers are only welcomed if the flowers were planted in your own garden.

♥Some words or iterm for Latin Botanical study:
gala: milk
anthos: flower
nivalis: of the snow

♦Latin name, ‘Galanthus’ means 'milk-white flower'.
♦English name, 'Snowdrop', means the snowy petals and the shape of the bud resembles a drop of water.
♦Japanese name, '待雪草' means 'The plant waiting for spring'.
♦Chinese name can be '雪滴花'(雪, snow. 滴, a drop. 花, flower) or '雪花蓮' ( 蓮 , here is not the specific plant 'Lotus (Nelumbo nucifera )' but a generally term for many lotus-liked or white beautiful flowers, which have always been considered as elegant, pure and holy etc. such as 馬蹄蓮(calla lily ), 睡蓮(white water lily ), 旱金蓮(Garden Nasturtium ), etc.
