i really need a better camera to get macro pics coz i LOVE mantis faces. I have 3 of these baby budwings so hoping to at least have 2 sexes!!! :) I think my pair of green giants are both girls :(

This is the only one I have so far:
I had trouble with focusing because it kept backing away and I was trying not to scare it off before I got the shot. It was hanging on the bricks just outside the front door of our apartment building. My husband spotted it as we were on our way out the door to work in the morning.

There are AWESOME pics! I lvoe these critters, they seem to almost have a sassy attitude about them. I've not seen any adult ones around the house yet but jsut a few babies. Haven't been lucky enough to photograph one yet though.
