About Black Cat Brigade

The Black Cat Brigade is the unification of all black cats. The BCB’s sole purpose is to fight for and protect the rights of all black cats.

For centuries (mainly in America) the black cat has been viewed as demonic, associated with witchcraft, and considered bad luck. For the most part, these beliefs were born of the pilgrims and other early settlers. So strong were their beliefs, these misguided people actually set out to eradicate all black cats. That is why today, you would be hard pressed to find a pure black cat.

The Black Cat Brigade is here to dispel all of the myths associated with black cats. Each cat that joins the BCB unites with other black cats to redeem all of their fallen ancestors, and to stand up against all those who have, and those who continue to repress these extremely misunderstood animals.

We encourage all black cats to join the Black Cat Brigade. This is not so much a group to post numerous pictures of your black cat, but one in which you are kind of “enlisting” your black cat into the BCB. One picture is more than enough, it’s more like and ID card, and a way for black cats the world over to say “we aint takin’ this sh** no more!”

Please include your black cat’s name as the title of the picture, and feel free to write whatever description you wish. You may also want to include your city, country, etc.
With your help, the Black Cat Brigade will soon be an army of thousands. It’s about time black cats got some respect.
