About Club and Live Venue Photography

OK...so my wife and I started shooting about 5 months ago for a club here in Walnut Creek, CA. We have shot over 35 bands and some club work in the city. We have come to find that great club and live venue photography is both challenging and rewarding.

Club and Live Venue photography incorporates all the worst possible situations in photography (Low Light, Mixed light, Moving subjects, Flash Portraiture and of course taking pictures while drinking (can anyone say VR lens needed)

The best part, is meeting all the great and interesting people and bands..........then shooting them. LOL.

I set this group up to let everyone have a place to showcase their best club and band photos. They can be of people, DJ's, Artistic, Scenic, photojournalistic whatever. Try to send only your best that stand out. We'd love to give all would be club photographers a place to get inspiration.

Note: For band photos please make sure they are performance shots done in the club. No promo shots in the middle of the desert with a piano please.
