香港保衞戰, 第二次世界大戰之中自1941年12月8日日本進攻英屬香港至同年12月25日(十八日戰事) 香港淪陷期間的戰役。這次戰役後，日軍開始了在香港日治時期「三年零八個月」的佔領。三年零八個月是很多香港人的社會性的集體回憶。

The Battle of Hong Kong took place during the Pacific campaign of World War II. It began on 8 December 1941 and ended on 25 December 1941, after 18 days of fierce fighting by British and Canadian defenders against overwhelming Japanese Imperial forces. The Japanese occupation of Hong Kong began after the surrender and it ultimately lasted for three years and eight months.

We welcome anyone interested at the Battle of Hong Kong. Photos of fortifications, war ruins, war photos etc. are all welcome. It is relatively hard to find photos of the war, it would be great if everyone can contribute to this group, so that we can learn more about the darkest hours of Hong Kong's history.
