As I said, this awe-inspiring red brick behemoth becomes a shiny new shopping complex in 2009. Before that happens I suggest that anyone in London, visiting or living here (and I know many Londoners who've never SEEN it) walk along the river, document it in all it's crumbling glory and share those memories.. It's a building that gets into your blood. Forget the Houses of Parliment... continue up the river past that kitch nightmare for about 40 mins and you'll see it.. You can't miss it..

Glad you put this group up. At least we all get to see Battersea when it is so interesting. Gone will be all the rusty, corroded bits that I love about it.

Went on Sunday. Despite the rain, or perhaps because of it, got some brooding heroic shots and put just four up on the site. Only a couple more weeks of it being open to the public in this state. Go go go!

Loving the pictures in this group. I was flat-sitting for a friend last week and his window looks out onto the power station. You can imagine how amazing it was to wake up to that view every morning.
