About Chiroptera (Bats)
Bats, which may be the most misunderstood mammals in the world, actually rank among the most beneficial due to their enormous consumption of insects and a very good pollinators too.
Bats suffer from a bad public image in much of the world; misconceptions and superstitions about them are numerous, states Best. Most bats are highly beneficial, intelligent, interesting and possess fascinating abilities such as homing instinct and the ability to navigate in complete darkness by listening to echoes reflected back to them.
