About Mixed Drinks and Decent Company

Pictures of and recipes for mixed drinks, pictures of them being made, and stories from the taverns, bars, saloons and other watering holes, especially those told from a bartender's perspective. More artistic shots from those watering holes - ones which don't look like myspace debauchery shots - are sometimes welcome, as well, but will be held to a higher standard than in most groups. Companion groups are available for those who'd like to discuss Liqueur making, and the use of liqueurs in cooking and dining, pairing foods with said beverages. Fiction is welcome, but should be clearly marked as such. Anything posted here should be suitable for general audiences. For stories and images that get a little more raw, a companion group is available, if one is over 18. Which one really ought to be if one is sharing stories about barhopping, don't you think?

Personal disputes are to be taken outside, as a matter of group policy. In the highly unlikely case that I'll have to get involved in a dispute, or set some kind of policy for the group, my decisions might be explained on my moderation journal. My Flickr profile is here, if you're wondering who "I" am. You can follow both the discussions and the photo pool for this group by e-mail, through Feedburner, or by following this collective twitter, which carries update notices for this group and its sisters.
You can return to your ring via the copy of the group homepage on Webring Webspace or Hourb dot com, or maybe use the code you see on the page below.
