I'm pretty sure there isn't a "large" community of Barn Door Tracker builders (DIY) and users, but here's a group none-the-less! I'm no pro at this but it's still fun just the same. Years ago I built a tracker (early 90's) and I decided to build another one earlier this year so I could try things out again, this time with digital equipment.
