Welcome to Bristol Amateur Photographers Social.

This group is an informal way for Bristol photographers of all abilities to get together, socialise & discuss photography (without boring anyone!).

We meet up once a month in a congenial location (Pub) & have a little photo competition. The competition is based on a theme that’s set by the previous winner.
The competition isn’t compulsory so you can just come along and have a chin wag & talk photography.

You’ve found the online part of the group. We use this Flickr group to share & discuss members photo's. We also have a Google group which we use for the online community aspect of the group. It allows us to ask questions, keep in touch, discuss photo related events in Bristol, organise photo shoots/trips & whatever else anyone wants.

The whole point of the group is that it’s easy going. Nobody should feel intimidated to ask anything. No question is too daft, were happy to help if we know the answer.

Basically it’s just all about enjoying photography.
