Wireless SHutter Release for Nikon D3100
|
I am looking for a Wireless Shutter Release for my Nikon D3100. Can anyone please suggest which one should I buy and from where I can buy it in Bangladesh ??
Please consider, auto focus on half press and continuous shooting while pressing and holding the button is needed.
Thanks in advance. :)

AFAIK, you can use the Yongnuo YN603N as wireless triggers with the D3100. They come with the USB header to attach to your camera, however you need to make sure that you're buying a kit which has the cable you need.
Mahtab bhai at Orient Photo (AR Plaza Level 4) carries them. They cost 4,500 BDT for the pair.
They also double as off camera wireless triggers for flashes.

Thanks Ifty.... I'll try to contact Mahtab vai... do you have his contact number...?
Also, can you please clearify what did you mean by "They also double as off camera wireless triggers for flashes. " Are you talking about external flash ?

The Yongnuo R603N pair are triggers for off camera flash. You put one of the pair on your camera's hot shoe, the other one under the flash's hot shoe. When you shoot with the camera, the flash is remotely triggered wherever it is.
They also have the added functionality of working as remote-release triggers for the D3100/D5100 (these cameras don't have an IR receiver, if they did you could buy an ML-L3 or just use an universal TV-remote to trigger them). You mount the transceiver in the hotshoe, connect the cable from it into the camera's remote release socket (looks like a smaller USB slot). Then, if you trip the trigger on the transceiver that is off the camera, it'll trip the shutter that is on camera.
I'm not sure about the continuous shooting but I'm guessing it will work. Haven't tried it out because my D40 has an IR sensor.
