Photo Olympiad: An Online Photography Contest by BP

Here goes one of our new projects.

We've decided to launch "Photo Olympiad", an online photography contest by "Bangladeshi Photographers (BP) which will be hosted thrice a year by us.

Each round of the contest will have a specific theme and you guys have to post your entry according to that theme in the contest thread. The contest will be open for all for two months. When the deadline expires, a panel of judges from BP will judge the entries. And the result will be published in 3-4 weeks. Then we'll have a month break. And after that, "round two" of the contest will be launched.

There will be a token prize money and certificate for the winners as well (1st, 2nd & 3rd position holders).

Photo Olympiad, Round One, 2011.

1. Theme: Black & White (you can post any photograph which is B&W).
2. Submission deadline: July 10, 2011.
3. One photo each member (Post a medium sized photograph).
4. Must be a BP member (Anyone can participate including the Administrators & Moderators).
5. Post your photo in this thread.
6. You can change or replace your photo before the closing date.
7. Add a title for your entry. You may add a description with your photograph if you want.
8. Number your picture, eg #7.
9. First prize winner of "Photo Olympiad" would receive BDT-1500/=, second prize winner will get BDT-1000/= and third prize winner will have BDT-500/= from us. All three of them will also receive certificates from BP.
