Want to share couple of tips to protect your images. I always try to make a Template to protect thousand of images within a very short time. Just follow these steps. I used PhotoShop CS3 Extended here. First task install Adobe Bridge CS3.

Step 1: Open an image in PS CS3 or CS4..

Step 5: Check the 'IPTC Core' value. We will work here to change all value as per your requirement.

Step 7: Give a name of your Template. I named it 'Copyright'.Go to 'IPTC Core' and fill up almost all related values. 'Save' the Template.

In my case, step 11 & 12 are working only for single file; not multiple files.
BTW, I use CS4

When I select all my photos (step 11); the "copyright status" option goes inactive. I can't do anything there.

Tahrir, these steps really don't protect us from the thieves, isn't it? Or am I missing something?

Rumi bhai..I tried with CS4 and it's working but don't know whether you miss any step or do anything different way but I tried with CS3 and CS4 also and it's working fine.

I agree with you Aftab bhai..it's not 100% secure but why not we take at least the very first step of the protection !??

This is just a piece of metadata, I don't see how it protects your pictures. My credit card sized camera inserts "copyright" metadata automatically, but this doesn't protect my pictures in anyway.
