About Bangalore Shutterbugs [Deepavali]
This is a group set up by photo enthusiasts from Bangalore. The members of this group are from various parts of the world united by the single passion of photography. The primary goal of this group is to form an "adda" or meeting place for photographers to share their learnings and experiences. To that end, there is a weekly contest based on a theme and an open invitation for members to post their photographs for critique.
Group Pool Rules:
1. Members are allowed to add a maximum of 5 photos per week to the pool. This is to ensure that we highlight our best and keep the quality of the pool at a considerable standard.

Rules
1. This is weekly contest.
2. You can post a maximum of one entries in the contest.
3. You may edit, replace, modify your entries till contest close date.
4. The winner of the previous contest is the judge of the current contest. In case of unavailability, the second, third or the admin (in that order) can assume the role of the judge.
5. It would be the responsibility of the judge to explain his rationale of arriving at the winners in a manner that is clear and concise to everyone.

Please note that Medium size photos are allowed for this contest. Here's how you post them.
1. Navigate to your contest photo page
2. Above the photograph, there is a link that says "All Sizes". Click that and you will land up to a page where you can see your photograph with different size options.
3. Select the "Medium Size" option
4. In the bottom portion of the page, you will find some HTML code just below the photograph. Select that code in the box and copy it (use either Ctrl+C or mouse right click and copy on the menu)
5. Come to this discussion thread and in the "Reply to this topic?" box, paste the code
6. Voila! You are done :)
Photo Critique Rules:
1. Any member can initiate a discussion thread inviting opinion and critique for their photographs
2. Asking specific questions would help people to critique the photo better
