About Bengal / Bangla
This group is for pictures, which bring out some unique facet of Bengal or is exclusive to Bengal's scenery, industries or history. Pictures & discussions pertaining to the culture & language of Bengalis living anywhere may also be posted here.
Ideally, please bring out the nicer parts, but not by comparing / demeaning others. Pictures and words should be of decorum befitting a "Bangali bhadrolok / bhodromohila" (= Bengali gentlemen / lady).
Anybody can be a Member, irrespective nationality or language spoken or known. Members residing anywhere outside of Bengal are welcome to use this group for expressing themselves about Bengal. If a Member writes something in Bangla in Roman alphabets, he is requested to also enter English translation for the benefit of visitors to this group, who do not speak Bengali.
