There are a lot of groups that focus on the love of black and white photography, so you might ask why another?

This group will focus on the very best in black and white photography.

The goal of this group is bring together artists that are a cut above the rest. To focus on those photographers who share a passion for the pure simplistic beauty of black and white work, whether digital or film.

Most groups tend to fall into several different catagories, and often are too restrictive, or not restrictive enough. Black & White (5 stars) will fall somewhere in-between, allowing more quality work to be shown, without compromising the high standards we all apreciate.

Imagine an upscale gallery. You submit your work to be reviewed by a panel, and if it's approved, you get to show your work. If your denied, you go back to the drawing board, keep shooting, and resubmit your work for review all over again.

That is basis of Black & White (5 stars). Submit your five star work. If we agree that it's the best, you get posted. That's it.

This group is not a popularity contest, nor is it a place to gather only 'professionals'. All are welcome.
