The Baltimore Rock Opera Society (BROS) is a highly energetic community theater group founded in 2007 for the purpose of producing original live rock operas in Baltimore. Driven by a desire to unite the talent and energy of amateur artists in the area in pursuit of producing an art form unlike any other available in Baltimore or beyond, BROS embarked upon a mission of epic proportions.
The core of the BROS leadership plans to make the organization a staple of Baltimore’s performing arts environment for years to come. With non-profit 501(c)3 status pending, BROS is establishing opportunities to create the most extreme, hilarious, ridiculous and awe-inspiring works of theater that have ever graced stages in Baltimore. A rapidly growing fan base and membership joins the Baltimore Rock Opera Society in looking forward to artistic collaboration that will fuel the growth of the organization.
