The Balkans are one of the most fascinating areas of Europe and here is the perfect place for us Flickr's fans to share the beauties of its landscapes, cities and people.
Most commonly included in the Balkan peninsula area are Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Greece, the Republic of Macedonia, Serbia and Montenegro as well as western Turkey. Photos from bordering countries such as Moldova, Romania and Slovenia are also very welcome in the pool;)
