24 Jun 09 - I've noticed a lot of photos do not list the name of the book in the description or tags. I try to send reminders to everyone, but if the correct tags are not there, the photo doesn't belong in the group. I don't wanna be obnoxious with my reminders, but the point of the group is to showcase the cookbooks.

Thanks,
Cassie :D

Also, please no repetitive postings of the same shot from a million different angles. That does not make browsing fun...

About Baking from the Books!

I'm a baker, and I LOVE cookbooks! One of the main things I look for when buying a cookbook is an adundance of photos. However, there are some poorly illustrated books that have recipes far too good to pass up. I created this group as a place for people to post their photos of recipes baked from cookbooks! That way, if there's a recipe you want to try, but you want to know what it looks like first, all you have to do is search for it here!

The Rules:

*Tag your photo with the name of the book in which the recipe can be found.

*Please be as accurate as possible when tagging. It makes searching much easier.

*The recipe must be from a published cookbook.

*You do not have to post the recipe, but please tell us what the recipe is called.

*All recipes must pertain to baking (ie. cakes, casseroles, pizza... anything that does it's magic in the oven).

*Feel free to include photos of the cooking/baking process!

*Please limit your submissions to a few shots per recipe (or one shot of each step in the recipe), instead of a variety of the same shot from different angles.

Thanks! :D
