About The Gardens of Bahjí This group is dedicated to the pooling of images taken of the Gardens of Bahji near Akko Israel. Bahá’u’lláh (the Founder of the Bahá’í Faith) had spent the final years of His life dwelling in a house in country side of what was once Palestine, known as the Mansion of Bahji. When Bahá’u’lláh had passed away, His mortal remains were enshrined in a building just adjacent to the mansion. This building is now known as the "Shrine of Bahá’u’lláh." The Bahá’í Faith regards this place as the most sacred place on earth - sometimes called "the Point of Adoration." Thousands and thousands of Pilgrims visit this place each year to pray and reflect on their lives and to remember, honor and draw inspiration from the Founder of the Bahá’í Faith.
