this is for swapping reusable shopping bags.

post pictures of bags you can easily acquire from your local stores. if the design has gone out of print, and you don't have a stash of them to send, please remove it from the pool, or update it with a picture of the new design, or indicate in your listing the changes that your partner will be receiving. also, remove your photos if you decide to stop swapping.

you can post pics of bags you currently have that you want to get rid of, and if someone likes it, you can get rid of it. they don't necessarily have to be new. (just make sure you note that in your post, and then remove it from the pool when it's taken)

please include your location in each picture's tag to keep some semblance of organization. also, if your swap partner is in a location that someone else uploaded a bag you like from, you might be able to ask if they can get you one of those too. if it's not too much trouble, of course.

if you set up a trade with someone and you haven't received the item in 2 weeks, let me know and i will ban them from the pool. (this means you shouldn't set up a trade with anyone whose pictures are not in the pool.) send your contact information via PM or another method that is not directly in the photo page.

if you sew your own reusable bags and don't mind getting a store purchased bag in return, feel free to post here, otherwise please join bag ladies' swap which is only for crafty bags. (but of course, there's nothing keeping one seamstress from contacting another seamstress within this group.)
(but try to keep it to a utilitarian bag. easy to fold and go. no pom-poms. k?)

when you receive your bag(s), please leave feedback in the person's photo post indicating so.

oh! also, most reusable bags are 1.00 each. if one of the bags you have for swapping is more expensive, indicate so, and tell us how many 1.00 bags you will accept in return for one of those bags.
