About Bad Advice
Are you tired of always being helpful to other members of the Flickr community? Do questions from newbies and people who don't know what they want exhaust you? Send them to Bad Advice, the Flickr group where everyone is an expert. This is the group where lack of experience is matched only by the unwillingness to research.
What kind of advice can I ask for?
Examples of questions that will be answered here include: "What kind of lens do I need for ____?", "Why are my pictures dark?", "Every photo I take is blurry. Why is that?", "Should I buy a Canon or Nikon?"
We also promise you extensive feedback on your photographs including good notes on composition, technique, all that stuff.
Admins here are called Experts.
Members here are also called Experts.
Those who give good advice have no place here. You will be warned and then kicked. If you come back again, you might be made an admin.
Posting rules -- IMPORTANT. If you post a photo here you are opening yourself up to BAD ADVICE comments. If you don't want to be 'helped' in this manner, do not submit photos to this group.
Commenting rules -- NOT SO IMPORTANT. If you comment on a photo posted to Bad Advice, you may have to distinguish your comment from Good Advice. So please put something like this tag here somewhere in your comment.
