This is an online support group for busy parents (or parents-to-be) who are also visual artists when they have the time. This group is for motivation, not critique. Any skill level is accepted, and any visual medium in the fine arts (note: generally not a crafts site, though some crafts do qualify as fine art. It's a little ambiguous.)
We have all heard the adage that to be a "real" artist you must ply your skill daily. Not true! Just because it is not currently your main focus in life does not mean it isn't still worth pursuing.
Whether you do a sketch a day or a painting a year, this group is to encourage you to keep your hand in.
This is the visual component of the group. If you would like to join the Yahoo group too, see the website link. Originally I was going to have them linked, but that was too complicated. So join one or the other or both--it's up to you.
