About BLW - Baby-led weaning
Pictures of little healthy finger food connoisseurs enjoying their food.
Baby-Led Weaning (BLW) is a method of weaning that misses out the puree stage. The WHO-recommended age for weaning to start is six months. At this age, babies are developmentally capable of feeding themselves. So, baby-led weaning consists of putting suitably-sized pieces of food in front of your child and letting them feed themselves. And that's it. Easy, eh?
