About Arizona Wonders (up to 3 in a row guidelines)
Anything Arizona goes here! Whether a native, an imported resident or just passing through, Arizona has amazing places to see with diverse wonders ranging from deserts to forests, mountains to canyons, rivers, lakes, playas, cities and farmland. The people are quite a mix and the traditions wildly contrasting. The state offers a magnificent array of unique flora and fauna. History and culture are everywhere. Places of wonder abound in untamed areas as well as in the centers of urban life. Welcome!
Group Rules:
We do request images in the group pool be taken in Arizona and be tagged or described to the location. Please post as many photos as you like in the group pool but no more than 3 in a row at any one time to fairly share our beautiful Arizona Wonders. Images will be any that are considered as "safe" for all viewing. Thank you for your interest in our Wonders, Arizona-style!

Please look at our many special theme threads in the discussions for topics about Arizona and anything from monsoons, plants, reptiles, buildings, history and more. Images may be shared in discussion threads that you don't get to see in group pools, so we invite you to read them and participate when you are interested.

If you have a comment to add or want to post a photo, please consider finding the most relevant existing topic, or you may post a new thread if there is nothing available. See the typical posts for initial threads for guidelines we suggest about posting medium or small images and using tags if it is a special theme thread. All images must be taken in Arizona. Descriptions with the photo or tags to denote "Arizona" and hopefully a more specific location are needed for images submitted to the group pool.
Slideshows, have we've got slideshows!
Most of our on-going theme threads in Arizona Wonders are now using tags that will allow images inside a discussion thread to be viewed as a slideshow. Those threads will have the link to the special tag and slideshow within them.
Updated November 10, 2010: We sometimes have a bit of trouble with members contributing photos to the group pool that are not taken in Arizona or at least there is no description, title or tag that specifies the location. That is our main theme - Arizona-only. Please stick to these guidelines:
1. No upload limit, however a usual amount acceptable in most flickr groups is about 3 per day.
2. If you have posted 3 in a row, please wait on posting more until other members have posted their images to separate between our pool photos. Posting more than 3 in a row will result in the extras being deleted. You're welcome to post these again later.
3. In the discussion threads, please post only one image at a time and be sure it is appropriate for that discussion. Allow other members to post to the discussion thread before you add more images or comments of your own.
4. All images must have at minimum one tag that is: "Arizona". We really appreciate additional tags for location, and geotagging is welcome too.
5. Images that are deemed inappropriate for "safe viewing" or content that is not in Arizona may be deleted without warning by Admins or Moderators. We may send flickr mail to ask a member to identify the location or write a comment on the photo inquiring about the location if it is not supplied. If there are too many images that do not have obvious Arizona subjects, they may be removed from the group pool without a reminder or question.
This pool welcomes a variety of images, however it is not a political group as far as discussions and threads go. Discussions may be started about items of interest to residents, travelers, and about the actual imagery, as long as they are not political discussions.
