About Aznalcóllar
Aznalcóllar's locality is placed in the limits of the Sevillian Aljarafe, borders on the first spurs of Sierra Morena, to what it has to injured of hisurban configuration. It is placed to approximately 141 meters of altitude on the level of the sea and possesses a surface of 198.8 square kilometres.
Aznalcóllar is known especially for his mines of pyrite, exploited from ancient times, already for the Romans. This one was one of his principal economic activities. Though the majority of the population devotes itself to the agriculture of dryness, especially of cereals and olive trees.
