About Azaleas and Rhododendrons

This is a group for shots from that wonderful group of shrubs called Azaleas and Rhododendrons.

We want your shots of: species, hybrids, in situ, in a garden, in a conservatory, anywhere you can get it.

I don't mind lots of posts at once - it's nice coming back to the group and having many pages of new photos to flip through.

A few rules:

* The dominant subject of the photo must be an azalea or rhododendron.

*Save your creative photoshopping for the artistic groups.

You are free to shoot in black and white or color, but don't go partial desaturating on us or using that cool new filter you just downloaded. Just the flower, ma'am. =)

And above all, have fun taking photos of those crazy Azaleas and Rhododendrons.

ps. I always reserve the right to remove a photo I feel doesn't work for the group.

pps. Botanically, Azaleas are considered Rhododendrons, so if you see me tag your Azalea photo with "Rhododendron" that's why!
