About *** Aviation Awards *** Post 1 / Award 3

Why another award group and why for aviation?

1. Aviation photography is usually shunned in other award groups.
(I don't know why, since airplanes can look quite beautiful, but that is just the way it is.)
2.There is no award group for aviation photography yet.
(At least the searches for "aviation award" and "airplane award" came up empty.)

Once there are enough members we will start with some competitions and votings on subjects along the lines of "Sunsets/Sunrises in the air", "Funny landings at Kai Tak", etc.

What's the criteria for giving an award?
Simple. You look at a photo in the group and say to yourself: "I like that!".
That's all the reason you need. Nothing else.

What's the criteria for inviting then?
Same as above, only that the photo is not yet in the group.
