07 Oct 09 - Major Pruning. The admins have decided to go ahead and prune the group of accepted pictures to hopefully achieve some balance and order within the group. It seem as though a lot of people get really mad when their picture isn't accepted, so to make it fair, we're making it harder to get accepted.

We really want this group to showcase some truly outstanding shots, and while your shot might be technically on point and look good, that doesn't mean it fits the vision of this group.

About Automotive Photographers for Hire

Please be aware that it could take a few days to approve you photo. Also, please note that there are a few different admins in this group, who all have to agree on a picture, so because your image might be approved by one, it could be removed by another.

About the group //

This group is dedicated for Automotive Photographers looking for work, and companies and/or magazines that are looking for highly talented photographers to use.

Requirements //

We will be very strict with what images are approved for this group. We intend to gear our group towards commercial photography. Post Processing and/or editing of the images is a must. Your method or technique does not need to accompany the photo.

Photos //

We have the right to deny a photo without reason, but you can inquire to why we might have declined it. Think about what you're uploading before you just pick a random photo and do it. This is your name and style you're trying to showcase.

Who can view //

This is a public group, however all images and photos uploaded will be reviewed for approval prior to posting. If your have questions about your image, please see the current photos in the group or contact an Admin or Moderator.

Automotive Photographers for Hire reserves the right to decline files in its discretion, including reasons based on the following criteria:

* Poor Focus
* Poor Lighting
* Poor choice of location ie. parking lot
* Poor Composition ie. “JDM lean”
* Poor Isolation & Cropping
* Excessive or substandard editing
* Excessive Noise, Grain & Color Distortion
* Compression Artifacts
* Over Filtering ie. Excessive tone mapping or HDR
* Dust & Debris in Scans
* Upsampling or Rezzing up Images
* Track/Event Shots (IE: Drag, Autocross, Drift, Car Meets, Car Shows)
* DO NOT RE-SUBMIT A PREVIOUSLY DENIED PHOTO! (re-edit it!)

Automotive Photographers for Hire reserves the right to change and/or add requirements as they see fit.
