About Writing Directory

Have a group to which people submit their writing? If so, then please mention it here, in the discussion section of this directory group created for those who'd like to find writing groups on Flickr. Images posted to the group should have something to do with something that you'd writing about. This is not an 18+ group, so do not post any nude images or adult reading material.

If your members are writing about literature that other people have written, and it's relatively well known literature, your group should be listed in the Literary Directory, instead. If, however, they are talking about contemporary literature written by comparative unknowns, people who are alive or at least were in the recent past, your group can stay here. Groups about pop literature, or anything else that makes the staff worry about the ongoing process of de-evolution, are not to be mentioned in this directory.

If you'd like to see explanations of some of the decisions that I've made as an administrator, and feel prepared to sit through some unseemly cheerleading on my part for the efforts of the membership of my groups, my moderation journal might satisfy a little of your curiosity. I do try to maintain a reasonable level of transparency, and hope that you'll find that any concerns you might have will be laid to rest.
