About Australia HDR
For all photographers to share their HDR photos taken in Australia. You don't have to be an Aussie photographer but as long as the photo was taken in Australia !
For those unsure of what HDR (High Dynamic Range) Photography is, there is a plethora of information out there on the Internet, but basically it combines more than one image of the same scene, at varying intensities to create a photo with better handling of contrasting elements. These are then "tone-mapped" to create a representation of what the scene looks like. Sometimes the images can look quite realistic, other times they have a more computer-graphics look to them. However people choose to render their images it's all about creativity and fun.

There are also numerous flickr groups dedicated to HDR. Some of them are:

HDR Skies
...and many others, just do a group search on flickr.
HDR can be done with a number of tools: Photoshop CS2, Photomatix and FDRsoft are some of the popular programs. If you have any questions, feel free to start a thread!
