02 Feb 10 - "Street" is a niche or genre of photography that has a long & ongoing history. NOT hitting pavement w/ cute girl or guy & getting them to "pose" for you in the street. There needs to be an element of candid image that resonates... Pay attention to light/shadows, to wind movement & other motion, to compositional geometries & linearities (the lines within the frame of the layers on the pictorial space). Colours, tones -- relationships, interplay. As our street signs say: LOOK
