AURA - the Association of Users of Research Agencies - was founded in the 1960s as a forum for the exchange of experience and points of view by a group of British researchers in organisations commissioning market research.

AURA represents the interests of clientside researchers and customer insight professionals.

Key objectives:
* to provide a network for clientside researchers and insight managers
* to represent the views of research buyers and users within the research community
* to improve the standard of research by exchanging information and sharing experience of market research services
* to promote the effective use of market research and creation of customer insight.
