Hello,

If you have the Google Earth plugin installed, you can now see your photos overlaid onto the sky on our showcase page. The showcase looks for the 30 most recent photos tagged with astro:RA, astro:dec, astro:orientation and astro:fieldsize, then uses the information to add the photos to Google Sky.

If your photo isn't in the 30 most recent photos, there's a demo on my blog which shows up to 90 photos from the group: eatyourgreens.org.uk/archives/2009/03/google-sky-photo-br...

Here's a screenshot, from my flickr stream, showing two views of IC1396 overlaid on each other. It's amazing how accurately they match up.
