I'm admin for a **NEW** group called "English Corner".

This is a space specifically designed for English Foreign Teachers either employed or formally employed by Aston English School in China or Vietnam. If you are a TEFL teacher with Aston English you are welcome to post images or comments in the forums here, keep in contact with friends or make new ones.

English Corner is a space for YOU to enjoy showing off your over-seas experiences through teaching, post comments on the forum and check out some of the other schools and places Aston teachers live and work.

This site will only work if you want it to, so I encourage all current and former teachers to sign up or register a FREE flickr account and join the group. Its simple!!!! ...and I know you'll enjoy the benefits of keeping in touch with old acquaintances or making new ones, and of course... everyone loves to see what you've been up to and where you've been. English Corner is all about YOU, so post your favorite images and don't forget to introduce yourself. Please remember to comment on other members images when you can (everyone enjoys comments). Use the geo-maps feature to pin-point the location of your images to make it easier for others to follow your trip.

Post in the forums if you want to contact members, have a question about a certain place or school in China or Vietnam? or simply to keep members informed about where you are and what you are doing. Its simple and easy.

As you can see, English Corner can be more than just a Photo Image Gallery, it can be a tool for your next job, or simply an avenue to meet like-minded people...even share tips on lesson planning..who knows, you might just end up working with someone you met here.

Most importantly, English Corner is ONLY for current or former Aston English school teachers. If you're neither of these but are hoping to be employed Aston English School somewhere in China or Vietnam, you are free to join and post a comment in our forums, just remember to introduce yourself. Unfortunately, posting images is strictly for Aston Teachers only.

All posts and images are screened daily and any irrelevant posts or images WILL BE REMOVED without warning or notice and the offender will be given a friendly notice before being banned from the group. No Exceptions!!!!

Rules:


1. IMPORTANT!!! Please introduce yourself by way of POSTING A COMMENT on the forums straight after you have joined the group. This way admin and members know who you are and where you are working, you may want to include a brief bio about yourself but this is not mandatory. (Failure to introduce yourself may lead to a notice then a ban).

New members are given 48hrs to introduce themselves before being banned for failure to comply to the rules, namely rule 1#

2. Members will be limited to no more than 20 images per month

3. All Images and posts will be read by Admins and deleted if seen to be irrelevant to the theme of the group. (No Exceptions or Notice)

4. Please comment on other members photos. Everyone Like comments and they're a great way to keep up the banter!

5. No *flooding*, that means don't dump your entire SD card of images into the database just so you can get noticed, its not nice, and will result in an instant ban. Keep your images relevant and interesting.

6. When possible, please follow these simple format rules for posting each and every image on English Corner.
Remember to include:
(a) Place Name
(b) 'Tag' the image with 'Aston English Corner' (lower case and with spaces between words) so as to make it easier for others to find your images.

7. Absolutely, NO PROFANITY, NUDITY OR ABUSE OF ANY KIND WILL BE TOLERATED!!! Members agree to respect each others right to privacy, please have your images vetted before posting them here.

8. Failure to adhere and comply with any of the rules above will lead to instant dismissal from the group without notice. No Exceptions!!!

9. If you feel that an image or post is derogatory, inflammatory and or breaches your right to privacy, you have the right to flag the image with your administrator who will unhinge the image pending an investigation before either re-posting or deleting the image in question.

10. Please observe any and all copy-rights reservations on images posted by other members.

11. This page, and or the comments and images therein are in no way, shape or form sanctioned by Aston English School or its affiliated franchises.
11.a The images and comments posted here are the sentiments of members who are or have formerly been employed by the Aston English Organization and do not necessarily reflect the sentiments or values of the administration of *English Corner* or the group/association or organization formally of the name Aston English School.
