This weeks assignment is to take photos of patterns. The goal is to have the texture be the main subject in the photo.
Post your best 1-3 shots in the group pool by Sunday, June 14 and tag them with assignment52-232009.
Please only submit photos taken during the week of the assignment.

Hey Salazar. Texture and pattern have similarities but can have some pretty different aspects. Check out these links to get a better idea of how to use pattern in your photos:

Max ~ This was an absolutely *awesome* assignment. I shot so many potential pattern photos this week, I had a difficult time choosing just three.
Flicker friend Kamphora and I have discussed how much we enjoy this group. It has become my personal favorite on Flickr.
I so look forward every week to see what the next assignment will be. The challenge to photograph for a specific subject is like a weekly scavenger hunt and really get my creative wheels turning.
Thanks again to you and Eric for creating this group and coming up with imaginative weekly assignments. Looking forward to our next challenge.
