About A sharpened perception

This is a group that aims for images that focus on the essence of the subject in an impressionistic style through unfocused, misty and vague images.

Play with colors, shapes, gradations, elements. Turn off auto focus, experiment with the depth of field and focus on something out of the ordinary. Break all the rules and when you start seeing creations you like, post them to the pool.

Members may post one image a day to the queue where they will be considered for posting. If your image is not approved it does not mean it is not good but that it does not meet the standards we aim for in this group.

As the images will be moderated I don't think there is a need for rules. Commenting is not required but feel free to do so if you see an image that moves you!

Since there are already so many groups that have all kinds of contests and threads to participate in, I have decided just to have a monthly competition. The winner and the runner up will be placed on the front page of the group for a month.
