to embrace and extend that present zeal evidendenced in all the most promising work of the avant-garde which shows a nascent fervor and utmost respect for the tar/concrete/asphalt(if that\'s different from tar)/cement coverings so popular and enduring in our modern dwelling places.
photos are encouraged which exhibit the abstract expression of those who toil to give us level and permanent places upon which to stroll or drive, as the case may be. special points awarded to those who are able to capture images that represent some everyday object or emotion (particularly if that emotion is trepidation...no incidences of which have been evidenced in my present sad sorry city)...furthermore anyone who is able to capture the essence of these rock hard palletes in such a way that it forms a compelling metaphor for the reality of these structures as means of transportation between locations in time and space with a special wink towards the ironic - to thee the highest respect and assuredly an esteemed position in the hallowed halls of future galleries and museums, if and when our spirited coterie does indeed take hold of the populous.
