About Asbestos in America

Asbestos in America is a public service project, sponsored by the law firm Baron & Budd, to educate and share information about the presence of asbestos in the United States.

Using a Google mashup (map), we will provide information that we have gathered through our work on behalf of asbestos victims. We will also publish and share pictures and information provided by volunteer contributors from across the country.

Asbestos hasn’t gone away. It is being found in city halls, courthouses, schools, hospitals and offices all across the country. Asbestos abatement projects are everywhere, and in even more structures, asbestos has been left behind.

Be a part of this awareness project. Let others know what’s out there. Share your photos of asbestos abatement notices or projects, and be sure to provide an address or location so we can include you in the map.
