About Arty Vomit

You've found it. Probably in the street. A glistening jumble of reflections, colours and textures. If you're hardcore, you might've even made it yourself.

So you commit to rendering it on film. Or in digital bits. Or on canvas, or in a sculpted medium. You work with the light, establish an optimal depth of field, and carefully craft your composition. You render the scene from multiple angles and don't stop until you've produced a piece that satisfies your stringent demands for artistic quality.

Then you show it to your friends, or upload it to Flickr, and people say...

"Ee-yew, like that's just gross! Ick!"

Or worse: "I like your work, except for those horrible vomit pictures".

This group is a gallery for your artistic vomit images. A refuge from a philistinistic world that is unable to progress beyond its instinctive reactions. A place to face what resides deep within all of us.
