About Art Exchange for Teens

this group is all about exchanging art between teenage photographers.

have you ever seen a photo on flickr that you WISH you could just have hanging up on your wall ?

this group is all about getting it! in exchange for one of YOUR own prints.

this has three distinct advantages:

1. you are exchanging with photographers of a similar age, therefore, your meeting new people all across the world!

2. you get to appreciate photographs, and collect new pieces of art for your home!

3. it's a great way to get your photos OUT THERE .

i realize the whole process for exchanging prints hasn't been totally clear in the past, so im laying out the current procedure for exchanging art right here!
if anyone has any suggestions on how to improve this system, please post it in one of our discussions!

1. find someone in the group, who's photos amaze you .

2. drop them a comment, or flickrmail, asking to exchange prints.

3. once you both agree to exchange prints, flickrmail each other your addresses, thats right, were doing this the old fashioned way. you will mail your prints to each other!

4. mail the prints

5. last but definatly not least, enjoy the new art :D


ideas/recommendations/suggestions:

these are just a few recommendations and stuff that may help your exchange go a bit smoother :)

- it is up to you, and who you are exchanging with what size prints to mail each other, it would be best if you both sent each other the same size print, so you may want to discuss that !

- it would be nice (not necessary, but still nice) of you to possibly include a handwritten note with your print, just a thought :)

- it's up to you whether or not you are going to add a signature/watermark to your photograph, again, this should be the same between partners.

- make it fun ! :D
