This group is about what visual artists SAY about their own work. Anyone can join.

Please submit images which either are (in your opinion) art, or are photographs of your artwork, and include a commentary saying something significant about them. In length, anywhere from a paragraph to a page. It can be on any related topic: why you made the image, what it reminds you of, why you chose the title, what you were trying to say, how you feel it could be interpreted, what features or aspects you find particularly noteworthy, whatever: but it should be about this particular image, not about your art or you more generally. And (of course) feel free to comment on what others are saying about their own work, and ask questions, etc..: but please don't post just an image without your commentary attached.

We prefer comments in English, but we can handle French, Spanish or German.

This is part of a larger project aimed at allowing artists to mark up their images in more sophisticated ways. If you are interested in that side of things, get in touch with one of the administrators. But in the meantime we can also have some fun on Flickr.
