About Art of Pride
Art of Pride strives to encourage understanding among all people by providing a format for LGBT artists and their allies. Our main format is our exhibition in the San Diego LGBT Pride festival in July of each year.
We hope our site provides a venue for a diversity of crafts, media and styles. We claim no right to these images beyond posting them here. Parties interested in obtaining works of featured artists should contact the artists directly
We hope, however, to be a source of art exhibits for businesses and other organizations. And a conduit to art work for fundraising.
While some art on our site may be sensual it will probably not be erotic. We defer to other sites to post erotic art. There is dignity and beauty in the human body but, because we live in a very provincial society, we err on the side of modesty.
Artists should only submit their original works. Photo manipulation using the photographs or artworks of others are not considered original.
