I am not personally affiliated with artmoney.org, just an artist that creates loves to create art money ...I am intrigued with the whole concept of art as money. I am a mixed media collage artist & I wanted to start this group to meet other artists who are creating these historic little treasures~

This flickr group is just for fun!!....your art money DOES NOT have to be official artmoney...but it must resemble money in some type of fashion....it can be any size, any medium you choose, just a place to share your creations & your interpretations of money as art! ;) Although I think we should label our money in some form...numbered, dated and signed, to actually make it worth something of value. I like the idea of artmoney having a starting price worth $35.00 each, so it should be of good quality and I especially love the idea, every year the piece goes up in value.

Artmoney is a global currency of original art.

You can go to their website & sign up if you want to make your art money official, but that is not a requirement in this flickr group. We just want to have fun with it!!
